lola majeure This music "video" is part of a 11 music videos DVD, released as a bundle with ZAZIE album "rodeo". All of them were shot in India in one month, during summer 2004. This one was not scheduled : it was shot on a day where our main camera (a super16mm) was not working and we were lost in Rajastan, far from any other one. I decided to go down the village with the artist and film whatever happened.
We met children, that wanted to show us their school. We followed them, they were quite proud about it and they wanted to show us how hard they were working. School is a big issue today in India. A few of them are working with private money from native or foreign donators. The producer of this video is helping one of these schools.
Later on, in the editing room, I edited this material as a bonus track. This song is a lullaby about Zazie young daughter.
