naufragés volontaires This was shot on lake leman, in Switzerland. There was no storyline, just characters described, chosen and dressed the day before. The production rented the boat for two days, and we sailed on the lake, filming when we the light was good, or when we saw something interesting happening among passengers, more like tourists on a trip. Me and my camera operator were passengers among the others, stealing shots more than directing them. i'm particularly proud of the last shot. The singer is ENZO ENZO, and the song is about lovers being like on a deserted boat heading toward mysterious islands. And now for the nice story : The little Girl was casted in a small village near the lake. She wanted to become an actress. Some 12 years later, I got a letter from her telling me she was now a comedian. I casted her again to play a small part in my tv serie "les bleus". Now she's a permanent actress in "la comédie Françise", the most famous french theater national company.
