just picked up a sx-70 SONAR onestep off ebay and am super-impressed with the quality and detail attainable through it's fine-ass glass lens; even with expired film.
probably be posting some pics of the camera and results on the blog tomorrow. (wearehistory.net)
also got another black pronto coming in the mail pretty soon.
these are exciting times.

funny people at impossible : just send your working cameras (with an average 10 to 17 euros shipping cost) and get a 30 or 20 euros coupon (or nothing, even not your camera back). Then watch them selling them back at 90 or more. It's cool to be a pioneer ! Hey, IP, give us a better deal, because even the worst Ebay sale will get you more than that.

I was shooting the old north bank before it was knocked down, and they wanted it full of supporters, with the intention of printing it life size to cover the new construction works, Sadly they never used the image, and opted for a painted montage instead. I shot 3 sheets in panorama and comped them together, it was a great shot, from the centre circle, you could make out individual faces. I only had three printed, one they kept, one I sold on Ebay and one I lost in a game of cards to a bloke down the road,......he likes to remind me now and again.

150 euros for two sx70 films !!!! 300 euros for a polasonic !!!! And 3 days more to run... Are you nuts, guys ? Just buy it for a fair price on ebay and give the extra money to Somalia. Impossible IS NOT a cause.
