OK stupid question...

I'm not missing anything am I? Is ebay the only place to get original SX-70 Time zero film?

I know about blend, I have some and great, but I'm officially out of the original stuff and as we're now in the last possible count down to ever using it. I'm not missing a secret outlet am I? It's just get bidding on ebay and pray it was stored correctly...

Like I said, stupid question but a lot of people on here still seem to be uploading with time-zero

vf-
some more arguments for "film" instead "pixels":
a) you don´t have to buy another camera anymore. buy a decent camera and it will still be a decent camera ten or 20 years later. a digital one probably will be outdated in 2 years. ( and if your willing to spend your money on a mechanical hasselblad or rollei you know that you get the pinnacle of a technoloy here..not, as in digital kameras just a "work in progress".
b) no more batteries. ( ok..maybe a small one for the exposure meter..which will probably last for month)..no need to carry a load of rechargeable batteries and the battery recharger with you...nor memory cards, nor memory card reader, nor laptop.
c) shooting in black and white, self-development of film is reaaaaaaly much easier than one might think. safes some money..and much time. ..and if you can get some cheap darkroom equipment on ebay..( and the stuff has become really cheap)..enlarging xour own photos is the really fun stuff...( ok..i started enlarging two weeks ago..so maybe i should get over my first enthusiasmic reactions..)

today i learned how to use my six new polaroid cameras. (yes, i went a little ebay happy . . . oops) fortunately, they all take the same film!

so look out for some medium format. wahoo.

also, this morning i woke up at 4:30am to go to the shore and shoot. got like 4 good polaroids. all in a freakin early mornings work, i guess.

I repeat my message as it got lost in the newsfeed attacks - if anyone wants it please let me know before Wednesday night as then I will list it on Ebay.
Hi, after much consideration I'm selling my immaculate Polaroid 600 SE - it was bought from Unsaleable for £302 and comes with all the bits and pieces they supply with the camera - it is truly in MINT condition and takes stunning pictures. It just does not suit my way of shooting, I will offer it here first before the dreaded Ebay for £249 if anyone is interested,
Excuse using the Newsfeed to sell an item but I'd rather it stay in this community if possible, cheers VF

heuuuuu.....

i have an evening-dress to sell on ebay....

who want it ?

zveliakine 2007-09-22 // 17:12:57

well Arne, I was just reacting over an annoucement that was obviously only meant to redirect to ebay from a member that is not very active here... This being said, I'm not deciding or asking for any rules, and of course I can just forget about this kind of "news" (wich is what we precilsely did by wrinting lots of other news afterwards). I read the newsfeed to see how people live, who they are, to have some fun most of the time and discover things or people I didn't know about before. For the rest, the ebay system is working pretty fine, even to warn us strongly when something we're looking for is available.

PS : be welcome in my friend list... ;-) I do not have 4x5 stuff, but who knows, one day I may have.

zveliakine 2007-09-22 // 16:46:38

well, why not, Lia and BC and Arne... let's just hope we will not be overflown by no-me-pola new members using the site as an advertising page for ebay or other ways to make easy money out of our common passion, honnestly or not (remember BMM, the one who said "ebay is god" !!!!!..). Everyone here who is a true participating member has a network of friends to exchange, sale or buy with if he wants to.

i am sort of with arne on this one. you can just ignore those postings (and too many rules makes anything start to suck after awhile)...still it would be nice to have a specific forum for buying/selling to keep it all from clogging the newsfeed.

that said, the most recent ebay poster has only given us 13 shots in the past year and has ONLY posted "news" about items they are selling on ebay.
