Hi TJ, sounds as if the timer on the eject cycle is playing up, could be corroded circuits or something similar. Try it with an empty old film pack but one with the battery still ok and see if it clears itself - if not then the camera is most likely beyond ecconomic repair. Not to worry, something will turn up, try garage sales etc - much cheaper than EBay. Cheers VF

does anyone use the "packfilter" to use 600 film in their sx70. i got some off ebay, and my camera keeps spitting the filter out after an exposure. it's getting annoying cos then i have to reload it in the dark.
i took it out today to get some pictures, got 1, then the filter spat out. so that was the end of my fun.
any help would be appreciated. might just go buy the proper filter off unsaleable now.

those DLT cases are pretty cool. here is a link to an ebay sale »link the shipping is a bit high for light plastic, by he only wants 25 cents each for them. i think i may pick up a bunch as right now all of my good and bad shots are divided between a huge pile of empty film boxes. happy hunting all ;)
ps. what is up with hene? is he speaking an actual language (looks like German...)? if so we need a translation as this could get interesting...

dear joster,
What a good question. I just bought on ebay an original Polaroid SX70 photo album at a terrible price (100 USD !!!!!). i'm still looking for other ones at cheaper price.... It's very nice , but un-affordable on the long run....
i suggested a long time ago the use of empty boxes of DLT cartridges

They fit perfectly both square 600 or SX70 format and Image/Spectra.
I also use old boxes of floppy disks : very practical also and protected from dust.

hello!
i'm SO HAPPY because, after an endless longing, i bought a packfilm camera:) this morning (at 5!) i won a auction on ebay of a polaroid 100:D
now, the question is: how many batteries should i buy? i mean, how long does the battery last? i just want to buy some to be ok for a long while.
in the auction was included a pack of 107 film, and i suppose it expired a long long time ago. so, the other question is: is there any risk for the camera if a load such an expired film? i don't want it to explode, you know:D i'm so unfortunate and messy with this kind of things that i have to be careful:D
thanks for your help, honeys!
