Alright Automatik,
yeah I agree, I have been looking at getting a pinhole but was put off by the price of them. There is a guy who makes them in the US and sells them on Ebay and they get about $90-$190!!! Otehr ones that I have seen within Europe also command a high a price as they are rare items.
Czengol (Ebay I.D.) on Ebay does kits which you can get for approx $30-40 (»link ) not including postage. Buy a old pack back and make your own (google 'how do I make a pinhole camera') or find a contact in Japan who might be willing to buy you a pinhole and send it to you. That is as far as I have gotten. Good luck.

jeez louise. im bidding on about a million polaroid cameras on ebay. and it's all your fault.lol. ive been looking at everyone's pictures and seeing what camera they use, then going straight over to ebay and bidding on them.
soon i shall be broke, but feasting on polaroid sandwiches.

pleins de films 600 (mais helas deux pack dont les piles sont plates alors que les films sont nouveaux...) (ca m'apprendra a acheter sur ebay, tiens...), du 125i perimé et du 669 (perimés et neuf)...

Hi bluecharlotte, mmmm there are maybe three possibilities:-
1) People are stupid - especially on Ebay, Ive seen many items go for way more than can be bought new at any high-street shop or mall
2) The bidders think the SX-70 camera is included, so sort of covered by point 1 above I guess?
3) It's a bit of a con to try and make people think wow I can get this for much less direct from his web-site and they go and buy.
I would not like to say which is the correct one or another reason but it just goes to prove "buyers beware" on Ebay - and other places! Cheers VF

funny thing.. i want to buy a telephoto for my sx-70 and have been looking on ebay and found an auction by lordofthelens for one of his that is now at $255 USD even though he sells them in his ebay store for $70 and on his site for $60. he also hid the names of the bidders at some point today. seems fishy to me...

does anyone know if the accessory #119A 1.5X telephoto lens for sx-70 will work with alpha models as well as sonar models? there is one on ebay i want to get, but not if it won't fit my camera, and the "land list" is a bit ambiguous on this. please help!

i did it! got an sx-70 alpha 1 with case, tripod and close-up accessories from ebay. i am so excited! thanks everyone for helping me decide which camera to get. i still have 2 packs of sx-70 film left too! yippee!
