jenellenorris ,

I've been screwed on ebay before so I know what it feels like, I understand your point though and I am glad to see there are people as understanding as I should be: ) I am not a bad buyer though : )

i hate to do that, i hate to say it...
but i've lost a lot of money...

i "bought" films to BLACKMAGICMAN two months ago through ebay, when he was still MOZART2AESOP on polanoid. this was before all those negative feedbacks :

sorry to the feed news-section with that kind of story, but i don't want anyone here to be fucked as i have been...

BMM says on his profile that "ebay is god"...
if ebay is god, BLACKMAGICMAN / MOZART2AESOP is devil....

don't loose your time to try to help him with his battery / films "problems"....

don't loose your time to make him understand that SOTD is not so important...

don't loose your time and money...

i really don't understand that kind of manners / behaviour

Kasie & I went up to Mark D.'s studio on Monday and took a bunch of pictures of his new painting (and a few old ones) using my Colorpack II--I just grabbed a bunch of old flashcubes off Ebay and bought a year's worth of 669 film. I'm putting those up throughout the week. Mark's started painting pictures with pieces of old Polaroids in them.

ah.... after some serious searching, ebay lurking, pawn shop scouring- i finally found an sx-70(sonar one step) for sale on craigslist, right in my area for only 40$! it even came with some expired sx-70 film in it, which i test-shot and posted, along with some newer 600 stuff. found a site online that sells the nd-4 28mm filter for 12$ so i feel pretty good about the set-up right now. got some film, ready to go. still have the pro-pack and some 3000 speed b&w to burn through, but then i may be done with that for a while as it's just too hard to get what i want out of it. the sx-70 sonar, in comparison, is a dream...

Yesterday my ebay lot of Image film (360 shots!) and Spectra 1200si camera arrived. All week I had been like a kid anticipating xmas - rushing home after work to see if the package had been delivered. There's nothing like a brown cardboard box waiting at your doorstep.

The film is expired but so far looks okay, I'm surprised at how good it is because other expired Polaroid film I have had was missing most of the blues and greens. I love the size and aspect ratio of the pictures. Have posted just a couple of practice shots. I took the camera to a barbeque this afternoon where it was a big hit - trouble is I give all the good pictures away in such situations. People still wave them in the air as if they were wet.

Polkadots first polaroïd was our lovely EE66.

Love gift from Mr Polkadots to Miss Polkadots, after she said one day "i'd like to have a polaroïd" in a conversation about photography.

But Mr Polkadots is that kind of guy you can't say any "I would like" beginning sentence in front of him without his brain to remember this in order to prepare a surprise, especially when he's in love.

Then Mr Polka searched in total secret on ebay the most cute baby available in paris, and found a superb EE66 like new, with some flashcubes and a beautiful blue polaroïd bag...

Miss Polka was sooo happy when she discovered the supercute baby. Still remember her smile when she noticed the "POLAROÏD" written on the blue bag and the little sparkles in her eyes when she opened it.
Then we ordered some 80 type films on unsaleable and we did wait and wait til it arrived into our mailbox.

First, like children we didn't even read entirely the manual and forgot to put batteries in it.
Didn't think that the electronic eye needed energy. We did understand we shoud find what was wrong in the manual after some black shots.

We removed the film pack in total darkness, inserted batteries bought much expensive down the street in a all night shop, and put the film pack back into the camera.

Then Miss Polkadots took our very first [blurry] pola.

And we got addicted and now we have many many babies we luuuv so much.
