my SX&) came in today... i brought it from ebay.. for the amount £8.27 ... my jaw is to the floor..

i got the package today..
i wasn't expecting what i got..

it was in it's original box.. with two flash bars.. the remote wire exention for taking pictures and a self timer...

i am so excited.. i'm just waiting for my film.. i order.. maybe 1 week and a half ago so i am really hoping it come to my door this week!!

i am like wow!

so i will have the inspiartion fom everyone here to produce great polaroids... so many i want o experimentation...

Kalle - that's what keeps us coming back to eBay. ..the chance that you'll score a deal after the people who are willing to pay TOO MUCH for an item have bought what they want. As an aside, I think I'm getting kicked off of eBay for leaving profanity-laced tirades against Bush in 'feedback'. What am I supposed to say? A++++ GREAT BUYER BLAH BLAH BLAH? some one PLEASE explain the Ebay mentality to me... MAcro 5 camera on there right now with two days left and its already at 236.00 GBP... while another a week ago in better condition and more extras went had only one interest/ therefore only one buyer and sold for a crashing 99 GBP. So walk into my local film haven today and find out polaroid is discontinuing the 665 in May.... does anyone know if they are replacing it with another film which offers up a negative? So all 180 and 195 users who enjoy the negative use of this Polaroid better store up.... what the hell is up with Polaroid - all their creative film they are killing off. If the world is one day nothing but digital and no wwt processes I think I am going to turn into a television. YUCK!

Finally those ordering the, ahem, "lens" for the sx70 - i bought the one from an ebay guy and its really not a lens but more like a gel filter - and you stick it on with its adhesive tape - its not something you screw in.... just as an FYI .... if you are thinking you are getting some quality product its really quite a marginal thing.

There you have it.... back to my cheese on toast.

This is the famous filter for the SX-70 cameras to use 600 films.... you can get it for 18 US$ + 4 US$ shipping costs..... I will try....
