I agree with lia, that is the beauty of this site, its for real and beautiful polaroids. I'm not sure why people feel the urge to 'lie' about their work, why say it's a polaroid when it's been changed?

Evey (whom Lia addressed) did NOT lie, she openly said "mixed media" and "digital photo" in the techtip of her picture.

Just uploaded some new images from my trip to the loverly Menorca in July/June 2006.

I'm now at Art College, which is exciting and it is also giving me more inspiration to start editing and posting some of the image i took this summer.

On another note, I just got the September 2006 Deviousness Award of DeviantART. I was quite surprised and also touched in a way, I havn't been active there alot for some time now, so I was like 'wow!'.

I thought what they said about me was very sweet though:

"What exactly makes someone a candidate for deviousness? Well, if we went by artistic merit, we would probably think that someone who is not afraid to experiment with multiple mediums and venture into unknown territory would be a good candidate. If we were to go by community involvement we would probably look at someone who goes out of their way to help people further their own art through encouragement and well thought out critiques in a manner that inspires the person to push themselves further. Well, this month we are lucky enough to have `northengirl who fills both areas and then some! A true artist and a true one of a kind voice in this community, congratulations to you `northengirl!"

Well, I'm back from my travels around Europe. Had lots of fun, took lots of photos!

Picked up my GCSE results today.... and honestly, I got what I expected:

Art and Design : A*
Photography: A*
Product Design: A*
English Lit: A*
Religion: A*
History: A
Science: B
ICT: B
Maths C

I was quite impressed with the number of A*s though!

Still in the Swiss Alps, to be honest Im getting slightly bored.

Was made to walk up a very big hill yesturday, I have nothing against that but Id have rather not done it in flipflops.

Hows everyones summer going? What are you all up to? Do tell.

Looking forward to getting back home and posting the polas I took in Menorca.
