Does anyone know why the polaroid project's films only have 8 shots to a pack instead of 10? Even with their no battery films they should be able to fit 10 shots. People from Fuji toured the plant in Waltham, Massachusetts that made the peel apart films and THEY figured out a way to get 10 shots in their film. I've still got a pile of 640 cameras and SX-70 cameras but I can't see the value of instant shooting any more at those prices.

I seem to remember a part of this site where videos were posted but I can't seem to find it now. There were some Polavision films as I remember. Is it still here somewhere?

Been away from this site for a while. Still looking for more photos to post and one video is being worked on. Pretty much out of instant photography for a while as budget constraints prohibit purchasing any new film and I haven't found any old film. Have a few shots of expired 4x5 black and white that I'm saving until I have a willing female model for an X-posed type shot. Until then....

If I take photos of people at the local park who don't clean up after their dog does it's business...am I a POOParazzi?

EARLY NOTICE - For anyone who will be in the New Enland area on April 30 & May 1, 2011, the Photographic Historical Society of New England will be having their semi-annual Photographica Show and Sale. They usually have tons of antique and vintage cameras, darkroom equipment, books and images for sale from dealers from around the country. They usually have a good selection of Polaroid items as well. I'll remind again when it gets closer.

A solar flare on Wednesday could cause Northern Lights or aurora borealis to possibly be visible further south than normal. I've seen them 3 times and they're spooky. The first time I saw them I was shooting Type 47 at night and couldn't believe how they looked. I tried shootig them even though it was B&W and got what I thought looked like a nude woman in the sky (have to look around for that one). They're hard to shoot but long exposures should get something. They could hit here as early as tonight but usually last a couple of days. Somewhere I've got a govt. link that keeps track of solar activity but here's the Yeehoo! article.

I had some Polaroid items on that auctions site and I noticed people snapping up massive quantities of folding Land cameras and they're getting them cheap. The only reason I sold some was because research showed people were getting big $ for them. Are these snappers working with the ImpProj?

I found a pack of expired 665 today along with a roll of Polachrome slide film along with the processing pack. Even with the nifty tab retrieval thingy I couldn't get the leader out. I may have to take it to the changing bag to get it to run through the processor. I'm not expecting any results but I wonder what I might have shot with it.
