also, this is the place where i bought my ND filter. it's glass and it's threaded so you can literally screw it in over the lens. i've screwed it on and off hundreds of times and as long as you're careful you won't strip the threads. works like a charm and this place is cheaper than many. plus, they're nice folks:

okay, the below mentioned pic has also turned up in xposed, so it is a pervy theft, as well as a regular one...

sooooo... i'm sitting around, making my way through the 15,000 pics i have not seen, when i come across one that i have seen before, only originally posted by someone else! what is the deal with peeps stealing pics from other people to post as their own? do they think we won't notice? be warned- i pay especial attention to polas of nude/semi nude women, so if you try to pass one off as your own when it isn't, i will know! and i'm sure i'm not the only one...

and it's not as though someone is trying to perv their way into xxposed- which would still be wrong but a little more understandable. it's just a theft, flat out. wassup?

yeah, i think that what it boils down to is this: if you like taking photos then to each his own. it all depends upon what your ultimate goal for the image is- and why settle for just 'one' way of getting it? different cameras/films/formats/media work for different situations and conditions so there's certainly no reason they can't all play nicely together. and this is assuming that anyone reading this has gone beyond the purely consumer level of buying something because it's the next big thing, or whatever. we like photos, so it's all good, right?

i'm not a huge fan of digital as far as "art" or archival goes, i don't think the technology is there yet. a good example is looking at some national geographic work that gets heralded as digital, pushing the medium, being cutting edge, instantly editable, etc. and it looks like shit and makes me want to cry. like VF, i'd say i shoot mostly 35mm and polas and find both to be inspirational, but i do use my lumix point and shoot digital for on the spot macro stuff(the leica optics are sharp and accurate) but also to "sketch" a photo or angle i plan to shoot on film. very rarely does anything digital make it to a final print for me, but some great film shots have started out as digital snaps...

hey reddude, i happen to have one of those press kits. if you'll just send me that leg...

or if you simply must post all three hundred, make sure there's some nudity scattered in there. nothing's worse than pics of your friends drunk, with nothing happening. i mention nudity only because that seems to be an interesting side-effect of being shit-faced. and sex sells. but seriously...

nevermind the lack of attention paid to the french- how quickly we have forgotten the sheep... how must they feel, so quickly cast aside? who will care for them? who?

valley-forge, i for one am offended at your inability to offend others. but since i find this offensive, i suspect you have succeeded without even trying and are therefor a master offender. good job.
