" POLAROID PHOTOGRAPHERS LOOKING FOR SOUNDARTISTS "
Are you a musician and are you interested in participating in an international experimental art project?
For the INTIME221L/R-project Tone De Cooman & Björn Wandels stitched together 2 series of 110 polaroids focused on the theme of 'intimacy'. The resluting curtains were exposed in a butchers window.
To complete this project Tone De Cooman and Björn Wandels want to explore the theme and the imagery of 'INTIME221L/R' further. Interested in sounds(capes) to accompany the sets of polaroids, which will be exposed in a multimedia installation, they're looking for (sound)artists that are inspired by the photos in the collection. Different musicians are asked to make sounds, scapes or compositions that matches their interpretation of 1 particular image of their choice.
The audiences will wander from one image/soundscape to another, and thus making its own narrative/soundtrack. "The outcome of all multiple contributions playing/mixing/interlacing at random could be great a symphony of its own..."
