I get asked how I do my sx-70 manips. Here is a few quick vids that show the procedure.

I first take a digital picture on location. I then come home and download it to my computer. I crop and make color adjustments. I then make the image fit my monitor screen. Next I take and set my SX-70 camera on the tripod in front of the monitor. I then photograph my screen to get the image onto the SX-70 film. »link

Next step I heat the Polaroid film to make it easier to manipulate.

Next I use some small wooden sticks, and a burnishing tool to manipulate ( move the emulsion around ) on the Polaroid film.

When I am done, I scan the manipulated SX-70 film and do some small color adjustments on the computer.

Better hurry kids if you want to try this technique, Time Zero film ( SX-70 ) is now out of production
