Print with Lou Reed, Signed Lou Reed Vinyl and the book Once There Were Polaroids in an Swedish auction for charity. Free delivery worldwide. See below, written in Swedish.

Lou Reeds signerade skiva The Shepherd of Brooklyn.

Lou Reed's New York och Romanticism.

Jonas Wettre, Once There Were Polaroids
Book launch, talk and party: 3 May, 5 pm, at the art book store Konst-ig, Åsögatan 124, Stockholm.

Once There Were Polaroids: a photo book based on Jonas Wettre’s personal encounters with the world’s most accomplished photographers during his ten years working at the legendary art and photo book publisher Steidl in Göttingen, Germany.

Wettre’s unconventional portraits of among others Robert Frank, Dayanita Singh, Keanu Reeves, Juergen Teller, Günter Grass, Boris Mikhailov, Lou Reed, Mikael Jansson, Ed Ruscha and Jeff Wall, give a unique insight into book production at “Steidlville” with Gerhard Steidl and Polaroid as their subject.

The evening’s conversation with Jonas Wettre (beginning at 5 pm) will be led by Clemens Poellinger, art critic at the Svenska Dagbladet newspaper. Also participating are Mikael Olsson (Södrakull Frösakull, Steidl, 2011) and Maria Miesenberger (Sverige/Schweden, Steidl, 2011).

Books can be signed during the event.

At 7 pm Wettre’s exhibition “Once There Were Polaroids” opens at ilcaffé at Södermannagatan 23, where photographs from the book will be on display.

Welcome

Long time since last update, I know, but I'm not out of the Pola-business because of that. In the end of September will my book "Once There Were Polaroids" be printed by Steidl in Germany. The Impossible Project's own Stephen Herchen are writing the introduction. Other co-authors are the American artist Jim Dine and the Italien photographer Mauro D'Agati. Some lager prints from the book can be seen in the exhibition "Timeless" in Gothenburg with start September 11 and later I will show many more prints in a solo exhibition.

I'm Instant.

I thought that the TZ Artistic was sold out completely, I heard/read that the warehouse was empty.
But now I see that it was only moved east...
