I just want to thank Polanoid and all its members for the prize and for allowing me to be part of this community, which is making me, improve myself first as an artist and therefore as better person.

I'm just thrilled that you choose that particularly photo since it means so much to me and to my family. And it proves me, again, the power of photography not only as means of arts as well as a kind of "memory helper" which makes us remember all those precious moments that otherwise will be lost in time for ever.

Quoting my hero Luis Buñuel: "We are nothing without memories" I like to, with all my respects, go a bit further and rephrase him: "We are nothing without memories …recorded by a camera"

And if it is, as in this case, with a Polaroid it’ll be even more precious.
