Trask BlueRibbon has put together a wonderful printable packet containing pre-written and addressed postcards you can mail to Polaroid, Fuji and Ilford, telling them why instant film should be saved. The pack also contains a flyer to put up in camera shops, film labs or anywhere else and a stencil template for those who are more adventurous.

I will not not apologize for my work, but I take all responsibility for it.

One point I must bring to light, however, is this:
The slides which i have transferred into polaroids were originally used to instruct medical personnel and therefore fall under the category of FAIR USE. They were published and distributed to many medical schools across the world in the 1950's. This means that the families of the subjects and/or the subjects themselves have given permission for these photographs to be used: benefitting emergency room triage and treatments.

I am no grave robber...

I in all honesty love this website, and am saddened that many of you feel my work does not belong here. I value the diversity of polanoid, and because of this I have accepted the mass amounts of misogynistic imagery, which i could have easily condemned. I have instead given myself the challenge of finding beauty in all imagery...even those images that fall into the "Sally Mann" genre which i find to be offensive on many levels.

Sincerley,
Aviva (aiaoe)

PS: all of you who wish to see the images can ask me, I am uploading them to my personal website.
