2008-03-17 // 10:53:09 I read somewhere that the EE66 camera could accept both the square and the rectangular peel apart films: is that true for the model 103 as well?
(In short: would I be able to use choco film with my 103?) thanks, armando |

2008-02-27 // 17:56:51 Jay, I never noticed any framing problems but you may be right regarding glasses (my sx70 is an alpha).
Pinhole: keep in mind that you will not be able to see anything on a ground glass unless you substitute the pinhole with a larger hole (a 2 or 3mm hole will allow you to roughly compose your picture, real pinhole is way too dark). cheers |

2008-02-27 // 12:26:56 I agree, we're talking about quality in another sense: if I prefer shooting with pinhole than with my D200 is because I like more the texture, the colours of the result.
Let's not forget a couple of aspects: with polaroids normally we do not crop the frame, so we get back to some more purist concept that leads to a choice we make during s the shooting itself (another possible meaning to instant fun???) and as well as ancient daguerrotypes we have an object wich is unique! Last but nost least we are talking about a whole colour conception that no digital medium will ever (?) be able to imitate: I'm talking about grain vs pixels, that beautiful whites and shadows and so on, no need to repeat something we already know! armando |
