About Me:
My first camera was a Kodak Brownie 127 all bakelite, received when I was eight . . . a long time ago. First 35mm was an Argus C3 brick purchased used from a store that was perpetually going out of business in Manhattan, NYC.

It is only within the last 2 years that I have been introduced to Polaroid photography which I find challenging and FUN.

I feel that it is up to the photographer to match the right camera to a scene to bring out the optimal effect - sometimes it is a surprise . . . a happy surprise.

The Humorous Vein is my own blog - unrelated to photography - trying to satisfy my passion for writing satire.
