How I got my first POLAROID instant camera…

Originally my parents decided to buy me a Polaroid-camera for Christmas, but soon my dad told me that they aren’t manufactured anymore. I really felt disappointed and I have abandoned hope that I’ll get one – till today (28.12.2006). This morning I stumbled across the article ‘Ein zweites Leben für Polaroid’, published in DER STANDARD – the success story of Florian Kaps, Andreas Höller and unsaleable.com. The same afternoon my girlfriend and I visited their shop in Vienna and I bought myself a brand new POLAROID 636 Close-Up. Outside it was bitterly cold, Mr. Kaps served us coffee and explained us the main features of the yesteryear’s gadget that in my opinion undergoes a new prime of life. Thanks to ‘Polaroid Petrus’ Florian Kaps & Andreas Höller to affiliate me to photography’s heaven.
