Over exposed frames used to just frustrate me and feel like a complete waste of film, until my idea had alas developed! The subject had no boundaries to set apart where one edge ended and another began! This reminded me of how I used to see things as a child. As strange as it may seem, up until I was about 10 years old I had never come to realize that real life was not outlined like it is in cartoons. I couldn't say what made me finally realize the truth, but I remember being in my friend's living room after school one day, watching cartoons as we always did and loved. Typical me, my mind started to wander and I began looking around at the edges of the walls and corners of the room unable to find any black outlines. I couldn't help but think, "how could this be?!" To this day, the majority of my imagination lives in the movies. It always had a strong influence on how I live my life and the lessons I've learned. Although in this case, it kept me from seeing the truth for far too long. It was that way of idiotic and naive way of seeing things that gave me this idea of a new life for over exposed film, complete with boundaries, edges and OUTLINES!
