Port Talbot with Aunty Mary
Aunty Mary (on the left) is Nan's first cousin...she is also the widow of Leyton, whose funeral flowers I have also uploaded on here. He died about three weeks ago now so we went down to Port Talbot to keep her company...The women are always left behind in old age it seems, its such a lonely life for these two ladies.
It is my Nan's 85th birthday today and she went down to the fish and chips place and had a piece of hake on her own. The first time she has gone out for food alone in 85 years. That is what old age comes to, I actually shed a few tears over it today.....
