oranges are the only fruit / #07
the road from heraklion to chania has a stretch where people come down from their orange groves to sell thier wares, there's about a dozen shacks on either side of this busy road. we stopped at this, the last, and bought a bag of oranges. I don't like oranges normally, but managed to chew one a juicy segment without noticeable ill-effect... I'd even go as far as to say they were damn tasty. and kept us in the finest breakfast materials for the rest of the week...
the man turned up as we were buying, and both were gracious enough to pose in front of my strange polaroidic contraption...
