Too old to be in the dark

I met this old man while visiting a home as part of my young enterprise volunteering...he had Alzheimer's and didn't know who was who bus used to love food. You could bring him food and he would always remember the flavour but faces and places were not recognisable.
Sometime he thought i was his daughter. I took this one one day so that I could show him that i had met him before but I think this picture sums up our relationship- close up but distant and confused. His name was Ivor and he died three weeks after this picture was taken.
