Shots from a very little abandoned asylum we explored yesterday, probably built in the 30's as a separate structure of the nearby convent.
Edit: the nearby institute was built in 1896 as a refuge for people who were not able to work; then in 1938 they built this new neuropsychiatric pavilion in order to house people who fell under the definition of "infermi psichici cronici tranquilli", which is a bit difficult to translate.
Then in the 80's the institute have been closed by the provincial mental hospital's committee of inspection because of the structure's inadequacy
