conscious
slow shutter speeds do this scene no justice.
the roof was caved in the middle of the room.
insulation and twigs formed a giant bird nest on the floor.
it had snowed for the first time, the night before.
the snow melted on the roof and watered the various mold and bacteria on the ground. the constant sound of rain inside. looking closer at the walls revealed that there are roots and plants living in the walls, absorbing the light and water that flow down them. it was freezing, but somehow the water still managed to stay liquid.
wind blows the branches outside, screeching. ice breeze flows through a broken portion of the window and a door slams down the hall.
his only company was the watered nest and dead birds that rested under collapsed walls. but there was light on his soul. it exists a little bit more.
not sure if this will all work out. but i've been alone for a long time and it's getting cold.
