reassurance
this is me, the kid who had intentions of ending this pattern of empty places. but I have. I feel slightly disappointed that I could not entirely remove myself from these places.
BUT these buildings are no longer empty if someone is inside to keep them warm.
A house close to me. I've never been inside because it was burned. No windows, just burnt frames on the white facade. I climbed up the stairs that remained, to a surprise. Not everything was destroyed. Some old chairs, curtains dolls, books and a functioning piano remain. When I stumbled on a box for a Polaroid 100 camera next to a corset, it reassured me that there is some good to come from these adventures. Just to stay away from places where I can get arrested.
