Carnegie's Boy
Seems not so many remember the amazing gift given to all of us by Andrew Carnegie. If memory serves, at the turn of the 20th century, he donated the $$ to build thousands of libraries across the country. Justice sits on the steps of Carnegie's gift to Healdsburg, California. Too many of these beauties are being demolished--not much of an incentive for future public-minded folks to build edifices of learning.
