overgrown, neglected
there's an old segregated graveyard that is has been neglected for some time. It had been a few years since I've been back to revisit this place. Driving down the old, broken pavement, I noticed that the grass was cut and there were a few fresh graves. Taking a closer look, the "fresh" graves were not from this decade. I'm not sure exactly what grave-robbers dig for. The coffin? Any worn valuables? The bones?
We walked along the line of the cut grass. It was on the border of this overgrown forest. However, there were still a bunch of graves scattered underneath these trees and vines that grew so mournfully.
