This Polaroid depicts a detail from Robert Graham's statues in the "Social Programs" room of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in Washington, DC. I have been to the monuments several times, but never went through the FDR memorial until this past weekend. It's my new favorite, and Graham's contribution to Lawrence Halprin's master layout is really amazing. Because of my obsession with hands, this was my favorite part of the bas-relief pillars.
