I was working on a short film last year, trying to cast some students. On one of the wanderings I went back to my favourite staircase in St John's halls of residence. Stunning college- it has taken me years to get over Cambridge and see it as anything but absolute living hell... for such a long time I had a complete mental block to taking photos of the place.
