natasha & igor
I bought these two statues in Tchecoslovaquia, some years ago just after the wall went down. At this time, all symbols from the communist years were for sale on flea markets in Prague and Moskow. I brought them back by plane, as special cargo, and had a tough time with the customs, both to get them out of Tchecoslovaquia and to get in France. Old habits, I guess : those communist symbols were trying to escape to the west....

:-)
Since then, Igor and natasha keep me company at home, where they do not have anymore to convince anyone to believe in the 5years economical plan or in the words of good ol'Stalin : they just keep the house. And Natasha is keeping a loving eye on my little one
