the reason why
... i have been awake for 38 hours straight & counting.
the assignment required me to create a piece that is inspired by and incorporates the work of an artist of my choice & to basically recreate it with whatever else i wanted to incorporate into it. i picked a painting by one of my favorites, egon schiele. the original, "Lovers" [1915], was a full length sketch in pencil and gouache. i cropped it in, decided to keep the pants on the guy, & dressed the girl up as a clown. this led me to research clown fetishes. an excerpt from an article i read:
"We did the interview and then proceeded to a warehouse to film Ouchy dominating two other clowns, Blueballs and Achtung! It was your usual SM scene [if there's anything usual about SM] – except the cross was painted with white polka dots and Ouchy used things like a rubber chicken and a bug zapper to inflict pain the other two. The highlight of the night was when I told Ouchy we had enough footage and he didn't need to do any more work for us. He promptly replied that he wanted the bottoms to enjoy it so he was going to continue. So we just stood there watching a clown in a black thong putting happy face clamps on Achtung's! nipples and inner thighs while she screamed in pain and he told bad jokes. All in a day's work."
