Took the tram up above the city and on to the island.
there, at the edge of the island, a shell of a castle… an abandoned smallpox hospital. (closed in the 50s).
Antuoane had no camera, and I felt bad for keeping him from the cup of coffee I owed him.
Though, a lost bird woman caught my attention and I followed her, observing her stumble-walk and crossed eyes.
She stood in front of the castle, staring at the birds, wanting to return to the flock.
Asia and I followed her as she followed the birds.
