wanting to be closer

starting out far away
out of focus

and in my move closer
i don't realize i was already in focus
so i move closer still

getting more and more out of focus
the closer i get

not knowing until the 4 flashes are up
and the film is developed
then the truth will be seen

and what now?
i go back in the photobooth
and i try again
