autumn: melancholy of dismal trees/ autunno: malinconia d'alberi tetri
a collage of three sx-70 polaroids: the eye of an ancestor (i don't know exactly who he was), one of the engravings of my great grandfather's and a poetry book that belonged to my grandmother (giuseppe villaroel- la bellezza intravista- mondadori 1923).

the polaroids were cut, washed with water or acid liquid, scratched and glued together. the only digital manipulation was the removal of some white spots that are just invisible on the original but become really disturbing on the scan.
