Black Hole Sun
For weeks now Melbourne and the surrounding countryside have been blanketed by palls of smoke haze from bushfires in the Victorian Alpine region covering literally thousands of hectares of land and still moving and growing. Not only can you see the haze, but you can smell it and taste it, it permeates everything.
Let's raise our glasses and toast those oft unsung heroes, our brave firefighters.

Tip:
The sun looks like it is experiencing an eclipse/alignment, giving me this polaroids title.
poki gives a great explanation for this phenomenon:
This phenomenon is called solarisation. Fuji Instant materials (FP100C and especially Instax) easily show this effect when too much light exposes the light sensitive salts and the graduation curve turns back (to black in this case).
