ANTON-BABINSKI SYNDROME

Description:
An unusual sickness of neurological cause, characterised by a delusion of reality in which the patient denies and lacks any conscience of his own sickness. Despite the obvious presence of complete blindness, there is a persistent confabulation and denial by the suffer that there is any loss of visual perception and it's common to find him trying to convince others of his perfectly normal sight.
Late studies reveal that the Anton-Babinski Syndrome is more usual in normal people than expected.
