My husband and I have been making a serious effort to live as low-impact on the environment as possible. One of our recent changes has been to give up all motorized lawn maintenance equipment. Here's our super-rad push mower, which works extremely well, is very quiet, and is faster than using our old plastic crappy electric mower by black n decker (which broke less than two years after we bought it.) We've also ditched the weed eater and have a super-awesome pair of manual clippers for weeds, along with a completely manual edger that does edging that is military-esque in its precision. yay for human power and no noise nor pollution!
