as seen through time
I lost my beloved grandmother before my interest in photography really developed, so I did not have the chance to take many photographs of her. I have a few photos of her from when I first started using my grandfather's old Pentax to take family photos, but those negatives have been sadly heat damaged. I do have this one treasured 1940's early color photograph of my grandmother, however, that I treasure. I have used it in photographs and as a model for achieving color in digital photographs many times before. This is a portion of that photograph and could be called "as seen through time" or "as seen through time-zero". Here are the colors of the 1940's transmuted by the technology of the 1970's. I wish I had been able to photograph her with my SX-70 or with any other cameras, really.
