at the moment, the den is getting a makeover (there's a story behind that, but i digress). today, the ugly green carpet--with flecks of orange and yellow--that had been in there for far too long was ripped out, revealing a lovely wooden floor underneath (original flooring, dating back to the 1880s, i believe). as the day began to turn into evening, i got inspired to do a mini-photo shoot in there, seeing as how i've never shot myself in an empty room before; and i wanted to take advantage of it. *nods* (i also shot myself in 35mm B&W, but you'll have to wait for a bit to see the results of that. *nods*)
