Every time I go there now, I just spend the day fixing things up for my mom. Repairing doors, electricity, lamps, bringing some wood for the fireplace, setting the TV and the internet up (yes, she's 80 and surfing madly !) ... A good son's life, you might say. It's very hard to see her alone in that place where she was so happy with my dad, and that she does not want to leave to come closer to his son and grandchildren near Paris, but I understand her : this is truly a nice preserved place, full of souvenirs, and I like to go there.
In fact, I like it so much that I decided to shoot my entire movie "home sweet home" there. It was done last winter, and it was a great moment to share with her.
