With reveries of days gone by
Shot on the marvelous island of Texel.
Someone the other day on a Facebook post reaffirmed in a comment: "perfection is boring". I was compelled to reply "Amen to that!". Every day that I spend shooting photographs, shot after shot, I realise flaws are something I am rather fond of. Even better: imperfections are what I am really after. Imperfections are the true poetry in my art.
Because of this, I am both looking forward AND dreading the day when @Impossible_HQ will eventually come to perfect their instant films - colour, shielding, true instant development - thus bringing to the world flawless, beautiful instant images. When that day will come, I hope they will still keep producing deliberately flawed, gone-bad, unbalanced chemicals.
