If you think electronics have shrunk things well the Russians already managed that without a silicon chip in sight. This is the mighty midget Ecran or Ekran single 8mm cine camera - takes preloaded 8mm re-usable metal film cartridges - way before Super 8mm. I still use her today - buy 2x8mm film split it down the middle with the film splitter and load the cartridges and hey presto. It even comes with a removable 3 lenses turrent mount! All metal construction - last for ever - thats enviromently friendly - not some piece of latest shit that ends up in a land fill within 24 months :)
