the impossible test / phase #2
Once again, Impossible asked to some of us to test the new versions of their films, PX600 and Px70, prior to the Photokina.
Huge progress, I have to say.
Still tricky (sensitive to light) when the film gets out of the camera, but with real improvements on the contrast, black and white, and colorS with a final "S" at last !
The PX600 is really an almost perfect black and white film : you can avoid the sepia tones (depending on the temperature) and have to be really careful when touching the pic (the heat of a finger is enough to get a red spot on the pic).
As for the color one, a bit more complicated to use, but with great results, a bit like a black and white hand-colored image, with some yellow skies a bit in the old time zero style.
Obviously, their are heading to perfection. Waiting was worth it.

Tip:

See the difference beetween ouside and inside pics : pure B&w inside (around 19 °C) and sepia outside (22 or 25 °C)
on some pics, the horizontal lines comes from the very short stop that the pics maakes when going out of the camera, before I pick it up and put it in a box. It's enough to make a difference in contrast. Later on, I used a box taped to the camera to avoid that, but never really succeeded, becuase the pic sticks to the camera when nobody picks it up (hard to do without exposing the pic to the sun light.)
