Praying in an empty house
And I did not go to help her pack on Saturday for, amongst other reasons, I'm as good at packing as a blind man is at Archery [Shaolin monks who can hit the bullseye blindfolded are exempt from this example.]
What I did do, was go on Sunday. With an early start from home, I was in Manchester for about 10:30 and her place for an hour later.
Amidst subdued disappointment, we cleared the apartment and began putting things outside, that the movers would put into their van. Put up a SALE sign on the cupboard, hoping that someone would buy it before we'd have to transport it.
Its a shame that inspite of numerous invitations, I did not manage to go see her at this new place she had moved into - where she was hoping to stay for another year but had to leave within a couple of months. And as someone who has been battling varying stages of non-permanency for 4 years now, I can appreciate how unnerving this was for her.
Heres a prayer for a successful move to another place.
Also, this happend to be my first decent polaroid. I will state no lies. I wasted 3 films [which turned out blank] by exposing them to light before shooting with them. I then shot boring photo at work. Of the 4 photos that I had left with me, this was shot no. 4 [ie: last of the 1st pack of 10 polaroids I had loaded].

Tip:
The flash was covered by a credit card, that got slightly burnt due to the intensity of the flash. Use a cardboard / business card instead.
