Tuppence
Two Polaroids I didn't like very much, combined to make a collage. The one underneath was taken on 600 film. My real hair is all bunched up in the back of the wig, which is why I resemble a particularly coneheaded LiA Bratz doll. The top layer was an overexposed picture of a glass vase my grandmother left me, taken on that wonderful expired 778.
My gran once said she "wouldn't give me tuppence" for any of my photographs. But, contrary creature that I am, I've always found rejection to be the most effective source of encourangement. So this one comes with thanks to my family for all those inspiring furrowed brows and puzzled shoulder shrugs!
