The hum of death
The watchtower in the castle plays host to many breakdancing flies, spinning on their backs in despair. Unable to right themselves, they buzz loudly, spinning in a merry kind of death dance before the lights go out. One more minute of joyful pained extravagance before the silence and stillness of death on the windowsill.
