Awfully cute pt. 1
It's a Saturday night, it is cold and we wimp out and take a cab from Park Slope back home because walking would take too long and the subway routes are just too unnecessarily convoluted from where we are at to where we want to go. The cab driver speaks about life and opportunities in animated French into his cell phone next to me, mixing in chunks of American slang into his conversation, and my friends in the back are joshing around. That's when I reach for the Polaroid in my bag, naturally.
