I Wish It Were Some Metaphorical Truth
That's me on the right, Kiki on the left, at the library where we worked the night shift. The crush I had on this girl! I thought she was fabulous and she certainly seemed to like me. But she was a student, I was a full-time employee; bad news on the romantic front. Nothing ever came of it except the occasional intimate conversation and one aborted date.

There was no plan or trick for this--the film stuck after Kiki took the first picture (of me, on the right). So I checked the camera, shook it a little, and then took a picture of Kiki. Out it came, looking like this.
