Pollardville
On New Year's Day 2007, my husband and I stopped at Pollardville, one of the classic roadside attractions along California's Highway 99, so that I could get some shots of this sign that I've loved since childhood. A few hours later when we drove past again, there was a big banner across the sign that said "Retiring Pollardville April 2007"
RIP Pollardville.
